What "FMCSA Bonded Broker" Means
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) licenses property brokers who arrange the transportation of freight between shippers and motor carriers. A bonded broker is a broker who has satisfied FMCSA's financial responsibility requirement by filing a trust fund or surety bond, guaranteeing that funds are available to pay carriers and shippers if the broker fails to meet its contractual payment obligations.
Apex Freight Logistics operates as a fully licensed and bonded property broker under 49 U.S.C. § 13906 and 49 CFR Part 371. Our authority permits us to arrange truckload, less-than-truckload, flatbed, and specialized freight movements on behalf of shippers across all 50 states.

The BMC-84 Surety Bond
FMCSA requires every property broker to maintain a minimum of $75,000 in trust or surety coverage. Apex Freight Logistics satisfies this requirement through a BMC-84 surety bond underwritten by a corporate surety authorized to transact business in the United States.
This bond exists to protect motor carriers and shippers: if Apex fails to pay a carrier for services rendered under a valid load agreement, or fails to pay a shipper for a claim covered under the bond's terms, a claim may be filed against the bond up to its full penal sum.
